of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote—Yeshua of Nazareth, the son of Joseph” ---Yochanan 1:41,45

About This Community

We are a new community as of May 25th 2010, so welcome!

Did you know: The authors of the Brit Chadasha (New Testament) were Jewish? (with only one possible exception) “For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin”
(Romans 11:1b).

Did you know: The horrific acts perpetrated against the Jewish people in the name of Jesus (Yeshua) are entirely contrary to His clear teachings (in the Brit Chadasha) about G-d’s ongoing commitment to and love for the Jewish people?
“My kinsmen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons, and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the temple service and the promises, whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Messiah according to the flesh, who is over all, G-d blessed forever. Amen” (Romans 9:3b-5).

Did you know: Yeshua came first and foremost to and for the Jewish people?
“For I say that Messiah has become a servant to the circumcision on behalf of the truth of G-d to confirm the promises given to the fathers” (Romans 15:8).

Did you know: Rabbi Shaul, known by Gentile Christians as Paul, was a Pharisee from the school of Hillel?
“Circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee” (Philippians 3:5).

Did you know: Rabbi Shaul studied under Gamliel one of our greatest teachers?
“I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city, educated under Gamliel, strictly according to the law of our fathers, being zealous for G-d just as you all are today” (Acts 22:3).
“But a Pharisee named Gamliel, a teacher of the Law, respected by all the people, stood up in the Council and gave orders to put the men outside for a short time” (Acts 5:34).

Did you know: a Pharisee (Shaul) wrote 13 of the 27 books of the Brit Chadasha?
Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians,
1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon.

Did you know: Yeshua is the only Jewish man who has succeeded in bringing the Nations to the knowledge and acceptance of the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob?
“I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every language Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed.” (Daniel 7:13-14)

Did you know the first people who called Yeshua “Messiah” were in fact Jewish?
“For I say that Messiah has become a servant to the circumcision on behalf of the truth of God to confirm the promises given to the fathers” (Romans 15:8)

These are but a few facts most Jewish people do not know about Yeshua. In most Jewish homes faith in Yeshua is known as a different belief system and/or is related to the evil that was committed in the Holocaust. Yet reality is He is our L-rd and Savior, the Son of G-d, the promised Messiah of whom Moses and the Prophets spoke.

Due to many fallacies learned about Yeshua within Jewish homes we strongly encourage that you do research, for yourself, to know the truth. In order to rightly understand anything in life one must go to the main source. For instance if we try to understand the Tanak without ever having read it and base our understanding solely on what others say about it, how do we know if we have been deceived about what it actually says and teaches? Do you really want to formulate a conclusion before you do a thorough investigation? Why not read the Brit Chadasha (one of the most influential Jewish books ever written) for yourself?

Thus, the goal of this community is to share the truth about Yeshua and to motivate you to more carefully study the Tanak and Brit Chadasha. We have created a forum for the community to use as a tool for working through the Scriptures together. We have also provided a Voice program (Ventrilo) so that we may converse with one another about the Scriptures. We can’t wait to meet you!
